How to Get Involved in Events

Together suggest that you play and active role or participate in local events that raise funds and bring us closer to a cure.

These events raise money specifically for breast cancer research, advocacy, services and education:

• Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is an American Cancer Society event, which is held annually in late October.
• Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure is also an annual event held in early October.

The following event raises funds for all types of cancer:

• Relay for Life – This is an annual event that is held at various times throughout numerous counties in the United States.
